Welcome to CheerSchedule. By creating an account or using the CheerSchedule mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or create an account.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CheerSchedule, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are creating an account on behalf of an organization (gym, team, or event producer), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

CheerSchedule is a free mobile application that provides:

• Competition schedule discovery and search
• Performance time lookup by team name
• Location-based competition finder
• Push notifications for schedule updates
• Coach/gym accounts for uploading competition schedules

The App is provided "as is" and schedule data may not always be complete or accurate. We rely on event producers, gyms, coaches, and community contributions to keep schedules up to date.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• Coach and gym accounts require admin approval before activation.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Account Types

• Parent/Athlete: No account required. The App can be used freely to view schedules.
• Coach/Gym/Sponsor: Account required to upload schedules and manage competition data. Subject to approval.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in misuse of the platform.

4. User Content and Schedule Uploads

By uploading schedule data, PDFs, or other content to CheerSchedule, you represent that:

• You have the right to share the content.
• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• The content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

You grant CheerSchedule a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and process uploaded schedule data within the App for the purpose of providing the service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload false, misleading, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Interfere with the operation of the App or its infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

The CheerSchedule name, logo, design, and all original content within the App are the property of CheerSchedule and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

7. Advertising

The App is ad-supported and displays advertisements via Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that ads will be displayed. Ad content is managed by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Competition schedules are subject to change by event producers at any time. Always verify critical timing information with your event producer or gym.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheerSchedule and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Missed performance times due to inaccurate or outdated schedule data.
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account.
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CheerSchedule and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Privacy

Your use of CheerSchedule is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
